Prakasam: Disha SOS-Arrested 1 in Connection to Harassment Case of Female Teacher-AP Police: A female teacher employed at a private boys’ school in #Ongole was subjected to persistent harassment by an individual over the past few days. The harasser resorted to blackmail by exploiting her photos and call records. On August 21, 2023, while she was on her way home from school, he once again initiated his harassing behavior. Frustrated with his disruptive conduct, the victim activated the Disha SOS service and lodged a complaint. Promptly responding to the alert, the Disha police arrived at the scene within a span of 6 minutes and apprehended the individual involved. Acting upon the victim’s complaint, law enforcement officials filed charges against him at Ongole I-Town Police Station under sections 354 D, 506, and 509 of the IPC, subsequently effecting an arrest.
