Dindigul: In Dindigul, Venkatajalapathi (45) residing in Pallapatti near Nilakottai, was defrauded by Uchanna Christian (45) from Nigeria, who falsely promised to secure him a job in Canada through online means, resulting in a loss of Rs.4,04,000/-. The cybercrime police apprehended Uchanna Christian, and the case was adjudicated in Dindigul J.M.1 Court. Judge Priya, presiding over the case, handed down a two-year prison sentence along with a fine of Rs.2,000/-.
