Dindigul: Balu alias Baluchami (34) from Papambatti area of Palani taluk was involved in the robbery incident in 2014 by threatening and attacking a woman with a knife in the area under Palani taluk police station, Dindigul district. Police from Palani Taluk Police Station arrested him and produced him in court and put him in jail. In this case, Dindigul District Superintendent of Police Mr. Bhaskaran while the case is being held in the Palani Primary Court. Palani Taluk Inspector of Police Thennarasan, Court Head Constable Dhanraj and Public Prosecutor as directed by SP Mr. Bhaskaran. On (04.10.2023) due to Public Prosecutor Mr.Karthik Kannan’s diligent efforts, Palani Principal Subordinate Court judge sentenced Baluchami to 10 years imprisonment and fined Rs.2,000/-.
