Srikakulam: In a coordinated endeavor, a joint operation was executed by the Srikakulam AHTU Police, Kashibugga Police, ICPS, in conjunction with BBA, SSA, the Labor Department, and Child Line Education. This extensive effort encompassed a thorough search of mechanic sheds, cloth shops, cashew factories, and railway stations situated in the Kashibugga and Tekkali mandals. The primary goal of this operation was the complete eradication of the deeply entrenched system of child labor prevalent in these areas.
Following an exhaustive search, the diligent efforts of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) led to the identification of two child laborers. In a solemn and heartening turn of events, the CWC orchestrated a careful and compassionate handover of these young boys to their waiting family members. This momentous occasion marked a significant step towards not only rescuing these children from exploitative conditions but also reuniting them with their loved ones, providing them with an opportunity for a brighter, more promising future.
