Kakinada: On Thursday, the 12th of October 2023, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there will be a traffic diversion in effect in the district. An appeal is made to all residents and heavy vehicle operators to kindly take note of this and cooperate. Additionally, on the same date, the Jagananna Griha Samudaya will be inaugurated in Samarlakota, Kakinada District. Vehicles arriving from the Undur direction will be redirected towards Madhavapatnam. Heavy vehicles traveling from Bikkaolu and Anaparthi towards Samarlakota will be diverted via Bikkaolu and Bhalabhadrapuram.
Similarly, heavy vehicles coming from the Rajanagaram side will be rerouted from Pandavula Metta through Gurrala Center, following the Jaggampet Highway. RTC buses are advised to arrive at the Samarlakota bus stand and return via the bridge along ADB road. For those traveling by RTC bus, car, auto, or motorcycle from Jaggampet, the route to Kakinada is via the ADB road.
