Bettiah: On October 14, 2023, the Bettiah Police successfully carried out a series of operations resulting in 21 arrests across various cases. Among these, one arrest was made under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Prevention of Atrocities Act, and another under the POCSO Act. Additionally, a substantial quantity of 50 liters of country liquor was seized. Moreover, Bettiah District Police collected a total of Rs.2, 19,000 in fines for traffic rule violations during vehicle checks on the same day, demonstrating their commitment to crime control and prevention.
