To engage the intellectual prowess of Telangana’s vibrant student community, a thought-provoking Online Essay Writing Competition has been organized by the Telangana Police. This competition extends its warm invitation to students ranging from the 8th grade to those pursuing higher education. The competition is bifurcated into two distinct sections, each tailored to the educational level of the participants.
The First Division encompasses students from Class 8 to Class 12, as well as those in the Intermediate stage of their education. For this segment, the chosen theme for the essay is “USE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR EFFECTIVE POLICING,” an area of paramount importance in modern law enforcement.
The Second Section caters to the erudite minds in Degree programs and above. For this distinguished category, the essay topic is “ROLE OF POLICE IN COMBATING MISUSE OF SOCIAL MEDIA.” This subject is especially pertinent in today’s digital age, where the responsible use of social platforms is crucial for maintaining societal harmony.

All essays must be submitted by 5 PM on October 23, 2023. A distinguished panel, consisting of Commissioners of Police, will select the top three essays in each district, which will then be acknowledged with prizes. Furthermore, these exceptional essays will be showcased on the official social media platforms of their respective district/commissionership, providing due recognition to the insightful contributions of the participants.
From amongst the prize-winning essays at the district/commissionership level, the best three essays will be elevated to the state level.
