Hyderabad: Passing out parade of new IPS officers has started at National Police Academy. Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah attended the program as the chief guest.
Governor Mr. Tamil Sai and DGP Mr. Anjani Kumar also participated in the program. Mr. Amit Shah received the salute from the new IPS.
Meanwhile, 175 trainee IPS officers have completed their training in the National Police Academy. 155 Indian trainee IPS officers and another 20 foreign officers have completed their training. The trainees have completed the first phase while the training is to be completed for 102 weeks. There are 34 women trainee IPS officers in the IPS batch of 75. 32 of them are Indian trainees while two are foreigners. 14 trainee IPS officers from two Telugu states have been allotted. 9 IPS officers were allotted to Telangana and 5 to Andhra Pradesh.
