Vijayawada City: During the Dussehra Sharannavaratri festival, which took place from October 15th to October 23rd, 2023, at Sri Durgamalleswara Swamy Devasthanam on the Indrakiladri in Vijayawada city, various events including Dussehra day, Moola Nakshatra, Vijayadashami, and devotee days were celebrated. As a result, traffic regulations were put in place for the convenience of the city’s residents. The diligent efforts of the Devadayashakha ensured that the festivities were organized smoothly, without any incidents of thefts, accidents, or untoward events. This success was made possible through the collaboration of government departments, public representatives, voluntary organizations, devotees, Bhavanis, media representatives, and various sections of the community across different districts.
NTR District City Police Commissioner, Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, extended his warm congratulations, particularly appreciating the dedication and responsibility exhibited by police officers, local law enforcement personnel, and staff who came from other districts.
On October 26th, 2023, City Police Commissioner Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, held an event at the Police Command Control Office to honor the police officers who had come from different districts to assist in organizing the Dussehra Mahotsavala Bandobast. During this program, Sri Kanakadurga Ammavari was felicitated with offerings including vestments, a photo, and laddu prasad.
The event was attended by Police Commissioner, D.C.P. Mr. Vishal Gunni, IPS, D.C.P. Ms. Ajitha Vejendla, IPS, C.S.W.D.C.P. ABTS Ms. Udayarani, IPS, Admin D.C.P. Mr. M. Satthibabu, Crime ADCP. Mr. P.
