Vijayawada: On the occasion of the Immortal Police Heroes’ Remembrance Day, dedicated to those who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty for the nation’s protection, internal security, and public peace, we pay our heartfelt respects and honor their brave service to society. This day, celebrated annually on October 21st, commemorates the martyrdom of our police force. According to the directives of the Andhra Pradesh State Government, the Director General of Police, Mr. KV Rajendranath Reddy, I.P.S., has organized Martyrs’ Reunion Days from October 21, 2023, to October 31, 2023, under the auspices of the Police Department.
As part of the Sandaranga Police Martyrs Remembrance Day, a blood donation camp was conducted on October 29, 2023, at the New Government Hospital Wari Dazza located at the City Armed Reserve Ground, under the NTR District Police Commissionerate, as per the orders of City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS. This initiative was inaugurated by Additional D.C.P. Mr. Moka Sattibabu.
During the event, Additional D.C.P. Mr. Moka Sattibabu emphasized the importance of maintaining good health for police personnel dedicated to public service. He advised regular exercise, yoga, and meditation to manage stress. The police officers and Sibandi who generously donated blood were specially recognized and applauded for their contribution.
This program saw the participation of Additional D.C.P. M. Satthibabu, A.R.A.D.C.P. Srinivasa Rao, ACPs, Inspectors, RIs, SIs, RSIs, Sibandi, Government Hospital Officers, and Blood Donors.
