East Godavari: Pursuant to the directives issued by District Superintendent of Police, Mr. P. Jagadish, IPS, with the primary objective of proactively preventing road accidents, a comprehensive initiative was undertaken on November 21, 2023, by Sub-Inspector Nagababu of Gokavaram Police Station. In accordance with this directive, in collaboration with the Police Station, strategic measures were implemented at critical locations identified as black spots.
Specifically, Radium plastic drums have been strategically installed at two key locations within the jurisdiction—Gummala Doddu and Veera Lankapalli. These locations were identified based on their historical association with a higher incidence of road accidents. The initiative aims not only to mitigate the existing risks but also to serve as a proactive measure in enhancing overall road safety in the region.
This effort represents a proactive and targeted approach to address road safety concerns, aligning with the broader mission to create a safer environment for all road users. The collaboration between law enforcement and local authorities underscores a commitment to community welfare and emphasizes the significance of preventative measures in ensuring public safety on the roads.
