Jamtara: Acting on highly confidential information acquired by the Superintendent of Police in Jamtara District, a strategic and targeted raid was executed to dismantle a cybercrime network. The operation culminated in the apprehension and subsequent imprisonment of four perpetrators actively engaged in illicit online activities.
The meticulous sweep of the arrested individuals’ possessions revealed a substantial inventory of seized items. Among the confiscated items were 15 mobile phones, potentially linked to cybercriminal activities, providing crucial evidence for ongoing investigations. Additionally, 31 SIM cards were recovered, highlighting the extent of the network’s reach and communication channels. Furthermore, three motorcycles believed to be integral to their operations were impounded, disrupting their mobility and operational capabilities.
