Almora: With deep sorrow, it is reported that CO Ranikhet, Mr. Tilak Ram Verma, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2023, due to a sudden heart attack. Mr. Tilak Ram Verma began his journey in the Police Department as an Inspector on February 10, 1998, and held various roles, including Police Station Head and Kotwal in different districts. On May 26, 2020, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police and subsequently served as CO CID Haldwani. From August 15, 2022, until his untimely demise, he held the position of CO Ranikhet in Almora district.
Throughout his tenure in the police department, Mr. Tilak Ram Verma exhibited dedication, diligently following orders and guiding his subordinates. His significant contributions to the department will be eternally remembered, and his sudden passing is a profound loss for the police family, leading to mourning across the entire force.
