Security forces undertook extensive search operations and asserted control in the outlying and vulnerable areas of Imphal East, Kakching, Thoubal, and Tengnoupal districts, aiming to ensure heightened security and stability.
Facilitating the seamless transport of essential goods, a meticulous oversight was maintained over the movement of 401 vehicles on NH-37 and 210 vehicles on NH-2. In order to safeguard against potential threats, rigorous security measures were implemented across all vulnerable points, with dedicated security convoys strategically deployed in sensitive stretches to facilitate unimpeded and secure vehicle movement.
The comprehensive security strategy included the establishment of a total of 142 checkpoints dispersed throughout various districts of Manipur, encompassing both hilly and valley regions. In response to detected violations, law enforcement took proactive measures, detaining a total of 318 individuals across different districts of the state. These measures aimed not only to enforce compliance but also to bolster the overall security infrastructure and ensure the well-coordinated and effective functioning of security operations in Manipur.
