Srikakulam: The Srikakulam District Superintendent Mrs. G.R. Radhika IPS spearheaded the semi-annual firing exercise held at the Chinnaraopalli firing range in Etcherla this past Saturday. Taking a hands-on approach to leadership, the SP meticulously inspected the weaponry slated for use in the firing drills before actively participating in the practice herself.
In addressing the assembled police officers and personnel, the SP underscored the imperative for individuals within the force to possess a nuanced understanding of weapon dynamics. Emphasizing the significance of the firing practice, she articulated its primary goal: the continual improvement of firing skills among the police force. She encouraged widespread participation, urging all personnel to engage in the drills to acquire essential skills and to seek clarification on any lingering uncertainties pertaining to firing techniques.
The firing practice was not just a showcase of leadership commitment; it also served as a platform for collective learning and skill enhancement. The District SP was joined by additional SPs, DSPs, and various other officers, all actively participating in the firing drills. The collaborative effort underscored the commitment of the entire law enforcement team towards maintaining and honing their proficiency in handling weapons effectively.
