Anantapur: In Anantapur District, based on reliable information, law enforcement authorities successfully apprehended 11 members of a gang and confiscated property worth 30 lakhs across various police station areas. The details of the arrests include the Uravakonda Rural Police Station detaining 3 interstate robbers involved in housebreakings, seizing 30 tulas of gold, 920 grams of silver articles, a car, and a two-wheeler. Additionally, Guntakallu I-Town Police Station personnel arrested 1 suspect and seized 6 two-wheelers, while Anantapur I-Town Police Station personnel arrested 7 individuals, confiscating Rs. 983,300 in cash and 3.5 kg of ganja. DGP Mr. K.V Rajendranath Reddy IPS commended the Anantapur Police for their successful operation in apprehending the robbery gang.
