Rachakonda: At the Republic Day celebrations held at Rachakonda Commissionerate, Neredmet, CP Mr. Sudhir Babu IPS raised the national flag and extended congratulations to the staff and public on the 75th Republic Day. Reflecting on the significance of January 26, 1950, when the Indian Constitution came into effect, he acknowledged the contributions of Dr. BR Ambedkar and the Constituent Assembly members in its formation.
Highlighting the unique journey of India’s independence, the Commissioner underscored the role of freedom fighters in establishing a sovereign and democratic nation with effective governance, symbolized by the dedication and sacrifice of warriors. Emphasizing the pivotal role of the Constitution, he pledged to eliminate all forms of discrimination, ensuring equal rights for every citizen, uniting diverse regions and cultures.
The Commissioner underscored the Constitution’s role in uplifting marginalized communities and steering them towards development. Addressing the police personnel, he urged them to function as a cohesive family, prioritizing visible policing for the maintenance of peace and security. Commending the Rachakonda Police for their swift services, he recommended redeployment to enhance community service. CP advised personnel to honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters and police martyrs in their duties.
The Republic Day ceremony saw the participation of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate officials, including DCP Admin Indira, Additional DCP Admin Mr. Srinivas Reddy, and others.
