Bhopal: Guidelines have been given by Police Commissioner Shri Harinarayanachari Mishra and Additional Police Commissioner Shri Awadhesh Goswami regarding the arrest of goons in body related crimes and arrest proceedings to curb the incidents of property related crimes in the city. In line with these instructions, the team of Police Station Jahangirabad Bhopal under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Ramji Srivastava, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Zone-01 Mr. Shashank and Assistant Police Commissioner Mr. Sunil Srivastava has seized about Rs.2 lakh 50 thousand in the crime registered in Police Station Jahangirabad Bhopal. Success has been achieved in recovering the stolen motorcycle. On January 30, 2024, the complainant had informed the police station that his motorcycle had been stolen by an unknown thief from in front of his house V-5 Vasundhara State Bank Colony, Jahangirabad, Bhopal. On which a crime was established and taken under investigation. During the investigation, since the incident took place in Vasundhara Colony under Jahangirabad area and CCTV cameras were installed by the residents of the said area for security, they took the complainant along and prepared a route map of the routes leading from the complainant’s house and analyzed the CCTV footage. In which Adil father Shakir, age 23 years, resident of slum number 123 Arjun Nagar, near Maidamil, police station MP Nagar was identified whom the police team surrounded and caught. When the staff asked the suspect Adil about his regular routine and meetings since January 30, 2024 and the reason for coming to Vasundhara Colony at night, he broke down and revealed that the incident of vehicle theft was being organized with the help of minor children. Taking action as per law, the police recovered one motorcycle stolen from Jahangirabad police station Bhopal, two from MP Nagar police station, one from Habibganj police station and one motorcycle from Govindpura police station on the instructions of the accused. Thus, a total of five motorcycles were recovered. In case of minor child running away from the Berasia police station against law, the concerned police station Berasia has been informed for action as per law.
