Hyderabad: In Hyderabad, three suspects were apprehended by the Commissioner’s Task Force, South-East Team, in collaboration with the personnel from Chaderghat Police Station, Malakpet Division, South East Zone, in connection with a Case at Chaderghat Police Station South East Zone.
The Accused Individuals were identified as:
Nazim Aziz Kotadia, aged 36, Businessman, residing in Hyderabad, native of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Shoukat Raini alias DMDM, aged 19, Rapido Rider, residing in Hyderabad, native of Gazipur(D), UP.
Waris, aged 18, Rapido Rider, residing in Subash Nagar, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad, native of Gazipur(D), UP.
The police seized the following property from the possession of the accused persons:
Gold ornaments weighing 330.84 grams
Silver ornaments weighing 124.19 grams
Three Two-wheelers
Two Mobile Phones
Two Face Masks (All Valued at Rs.24,00,000/-)
On 14-02-2024 at approximately 1315 hours, Nazim Aziz Kotadia, Shoukat Raini alias DMDM, and Waris entered Kiswah Jewellers at Akbarbagh, Malakpet U/L of Chaderghat Police Station. They attacked Shajee Rahman, causing injuries, and committed theft of gold and silver ornaments before fleeing. The investigation led the task force and crime team to gather CCTV footage, analyze tower dumps and CDR, leading to the identification, apprehension, and recovery of stolen property.
Motive of the Crime: Nazim Aziz Kotadia, after observing Kiswah Jewellery shop, planned the theft and involved Shoukat Raini and Waris. They attempted theft on 13-02-2024 but failed. On 14-02-2024, they returned and executed the robbery.
