Srikakulam: During a convened meeting at the collector’s meeting hall on Saturday, Srikakulam District Election Officer and Collector, Mr. Manazir Jilani Samoon, IAS, alongside District SP Mrs. GR Radhika IPS, underscored the crucial importance for all surveillance teams involved in the forthcoming elections to execute their duties with absolute transparency and impartiality. The emphasis was placed on fostering an environment where electoral processes are conducted with integrity and fairness.
Amidst discussions, detailed directives were issued pertaining to various aspects of election monitoring, including the prevention of any attempts to influence or coerce voters, swift and efficient handling of election-related complaints, as well as the implementation of rigorous and continuous inspections to ensure adherence to electoral guidelines.
The meeting, which saw the active participation of senior officers from a multitude of departments, served as a platform for collaborative discourse on strategies to uphold the sanctity of the electoral process. Additional SP Ms. Prema Kajal, District Revenue Officer Mr. M. Ganapathi Rao, alongside officials representing departments such as the Forest Department, Drug Control, Education Department, and Transport, among others, were among those present, collectively demonstrating a commitment to ensuring the smooth and impartial conduct of the upcoming elections.
