Wayanad: On February 29, 2024, in Kalpatta, a farewell ceremony was held to honor DHQ SI Mr. Vijayan KV for his commendable service in the Police Force. He was bestowed with the State Police Chief’s Badge of Honor by Honorable Wayanad District Police Chief Mr. Narayanan T. IPS. Additionally, recognition was extended to Sultan Bathery Police Station Inspector SHO Shri. Baiju K. Jos, Thondarnad Police Station Police Sub-Inspector Mr. Sreedasan MV, and a Senior Civil Police Officer from Vellamund Police Station who achieved notable feats in sports. Ajmal P, a Senior Civil Police Officer from Vythiri Police Station, was also celebrated for his accomplishments in bodybuilding. The event, which also included a felicitation for Sumesh V.V., was jointly organized by the Wayanad District Committees of the Kerala Police Officers Association and the Kerala Police Association at the Kalpatta PWD Reshouse Auditorium. The inauguration was conducted by Wayanad District Police Chief Mr. T. Narayanan IPS, with Wayanad Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Vinod Pillai as the chief guest. P.C. Sajeev, President of KPOA District, presided over the event, while various dignitaries, including Bathery DYSP Mr. K.K. Abdul Sharif and Special Branch DYSP Shri. G. Balachandran, delivered congratulatory remarks. The welcome address was given by KPA District Secretary Shri. Irshad Mubarak, and the vote of thanks was delivered by KPA District Joint Secretary Mr. George Nitus.
