North and Middle Andaman: In a concerted effort to strengthen security measures and ensure the smooth conduct of upcoming elections, the North & Middle Andaman Police, in collaboration with the CAPF conducted area domination flag marches. These operations aim to intensify vigilance and insist confidence in the public for a fair and peaceful electoral process.
With a focus on targeting repeat offenders, bootleggers, and anti-social elements, these flag marches serve to proactively address potential disruptions and maintain law and order in the region. By actively patrolling key areas, law enforcement agencies are working diligently to deter any unlawful activities that may compromise the integrity of the electoral proceedings.
In addition to the area domination flag marches, night picketing operations are also continuing, accompanied by rigorous vehicle checks. These measures are crucial in upholding law and order during the electoral period, and they are designed to prevent voter intimidation, electoral fraud, or any form of violence that may occur under the cover of darkness.
