Bengaluru: In Bengaluru, a harrowing incident unfolded as a 32-year-old man, identified as Girish NL, also known as Rehan Ahmed allegedly committed a heinous act that resulted in the tragic demise of his girlfriend, Farida Khatoon, aged 42.
Their acquaintance began innocuously enough in 2022 when Girish, originally hailing from Kolkata, crossed paths with Farida at a spa in the bustling city of Bengaluru. Over the span of more than a year, their connection deepened into a romantic involvement despite their significant age gap.
However, what seemed like a budding romance took a sinister turn on a fateful Saturday. March 28th, 2024, was meant to be a celebration, marking Girish’s birthday. Little did they know it would be a day marred by tragedy.
On that evening, Farida, accompanied by one of her daughters, joined Girish for a seemingly jovial dinner outing. As they dined together, perhaps under the facade of normalcy, Girish harbored intentions far more sinister than mere celebration. With Farida’s daughter safely returned to their hotel, the couple ventured to Shalini Ground, where Girish decided to lay bare his intentions.
In a moment that would change everything, Girish knelt before Farida, offering her his hand in marriage. However, Farida’s response shattered his hopes and unleashed a violent storm of emotions. She refused his proposal, citing reasons that remain undisclosed. What followed was a gruesome scene of brutality that defies comprehension.
In a fit of rage, Girish lashed out at Farida with a knife, inflicting mortal wounds upon her frail form.
