Kanyakumari: In Kanyakumari, a monthly crime consultation session convened at the Armed Forces on April 24, 2024, chaired by Mr. E. Sundaravathanam IPS, the Superintendent of Police for the district. Attending were Assistant Superintendents of Police, Additional Superintendents of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police, Inspectors of Police, and Assistant Inspectors from across Kanyakumari district. During the meeting, commendations were extended to officers from the district police office election control room, as well as special division inspectors and assistant inspectors, for their exemplary service during the election period. Special recognition was given to traffic police officers for their exceptional performance in managing traffic during visits by important dignitaries, along with presentation of gifts and certificates. Additionally, an inspection of two-wheeler and four-wheeler police vehicles in each sub-district took place at the Armed Forces ground, where inquiries were made regarding any concerns or grievances of the officers.
