Srikakulam: Amidst the backdrop of the general elections, the district police in Srikakulam have intensified their midnight patrol activities, as directed by District SP Mrs. G. R. Radhika IPS, to enhance vigilance and implement measures against trafficking and crime. Throughout the night, police conducted thorough checks on vehicles including cars, buses, and luggage carriers, questioning passengers and inspecting transported materials. With a focus on crime control during the election period, the district police are rigorously investigating individuals, scrutinizing passengers and luggage, and gathering information on suspected persons.
