Manipur: On the 8th of May, 2024, Security Forces in Manipur conducted an operation resulting in the arrest of two individuals suspected to be affiliated with UNLF(K), a notable insurgent group. The detained individuals have been identified as Huidrom Jitanjit Singh, aged 36, and Ningtham Oinam, aged 43.
During the course of the operation, law enforcement officials seized a substantial array of items from the possession of the suspects. Among the confiscated items were a sum of Rs.1,17,360 in cash, indicative of potential illicit financial activities.
