Kerala: Following a meticulous and extensive state-wide investigation, Operation P Hunt 24.1, orchestrated by the Cyber Division, has yielded significant results. A total of 16 cases have been formally registered, targeting individuals engaged in the disturbing and illegal activities of searching, downloading, and amassing child nude images and videos on the Internet. The operation, which commenced promptly at 7 am on May 12th, involved a coordinated effort that spanned across the entire state.
In a concerted effort to curb this reprehensible behavior, law enforcement authorities seized a staggering total of 57 digital devices, including smartphones, as crucial pieces of evidence. Notably, this operation was not confined solely to the jurisdiction of the Cyber Division; rather, it saw active participation from various district police chiefs and their respective teams. This collaborative approach underscores the unified commitment to eradicating online exploitation and safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable individuals within our communities.
