<![CDATA[ The punjab government on Wednesday formally kick-started the process to appoint Moga cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). Harmanpreet had played a crucial role in India reaching the finals of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 held in England recently. DGP Suresh Arora, who was present when the Moga cricketer called on Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, was directed by the CM to complete the formalities for her appointment and said her training could be completed later. The DGP said with her joining the force, they would now set up a cricket team of the police department.
