Srikakulam: Under the directive of Srikakulam District Superintendent of Police Mr. K.V. Maheswara Reddy, IPS, the district police are intensifying their efforts to enhance public safety through comprehensive midnight patrols. These patrols involve meticulous checks on vehicles, verifying vehicle records, and screening passengers to ensure compliance with the law. Officers are also diligently collecting details of individuals suspected of involvement in illegal activities.

In addition to these measures, the police are adopting a robust strategy to curb smuggling and other criminal activities. Beat inspection officers have been assigned specific tasks to thoroughly inspect designated beat points and maintain a visible presence in sensitive areas, including temples, ATMs, and business complexes. They are responsible for alerting on-site security staff and ensuring that these locations are safeguarded against potential threats.
