Bilaspur: A grand tree plantation initiative was successfully organized under the joint efforts of the Bilaspur Police Administration and the environmental organization Punhariyali. The program marked a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability and enhancing the green cover in the region. The event was ceremoniously inaugurated by the Bilaspur Superintendent of Police, Mr.Rajnesh Singh (IPS), who personally planted the first sapling, setting an inspiring example for the community.
The initiative witnessed the participation of several distinguished officials, including Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Archana Jha, known for her commitment to rural development; Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Umesh Kashyap, who actively engages in urban welfare projects; CSP Kotwali Pooja Kumar (IPS), a proactive leader in community policing; and Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Neeraj Chandrakar, who has been instrumental in implementing various traffic safety measures in the city.
