Dharmapuri: On the morning of August 24, 2024, a consultation meeting was held at the office of the Superintendent of Police in Dharmapuri. The meeting was led by Dharmapuri District Superintendent of Police, Mr. T. Senthil Kumar, I.P.S., along with Deputy Superintendent of Police, Salem Sub-Division, Mrs. E.S. Uma, I.P.S., Dharmapuri District Superintendent of Police, Mr. S.S. Maheswaran, B.Com., Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Mr. N. Balasubramanian, Deputy Superintendents of Police, and other Inspectors of Police working in Dharmapuri District.
During the meeting, the West Zone Police Chief discussed various law and order issues in Dharmapuri district, including measures to prevent and eradicate the sale of counterfeit liquor and ganja, reduce road accidents, take appropriate action against those involved in illegal activities, and manage the installation and dissolution of idols during Ganesha Chaturthi. The Chief also emphasized the importance of preparing and submitting final reports for pending cases to the court promptly and addressing public petitions in a timely manner.
Additionally, on the same day at 6:30 am, the West Zone Police Chief visited the weekly parade held at the Dharmapuri District Armed Forces Complex, where he provided further instructions and listened to the grievances of the guards.
