Fatehabad: Fatehabad District Police, under the directive of Superintendent of Police Aastha Modi, IPS, has issued a comprehensive order for all arms license holders in the district to surrender their weapons in light of the forthcoming Assembly elections. This precautionary measure is intended to ensure a peaceful and secure electoral process. SP Aastha Modi has made it clear that failure to comply with this directive will result in the cancellation of the arms licenses for the individuals concerned.
In a parallel crackdown on criminal activities, the Fatehabad Police have launched “Operation Aakram,” a major initiative aimed at curbing illegal activities and apprehending those involved in criminal behavior. As a result of this operation, the police have registered 25 cases against individuals implicated in various criminal acts. Additionally, 28 suspects have been arrested as part of this extensive enforcement action. This operation underscores the commitment of the Fatehabad Police to maintaining law and order in the region, particularly during the sensitive period leading up to the elections.
