Bilaspur: A workshop on crimes against women and children was organized under the joint collaboration of Bal Mukund School and the Mahila Jagruti Group. With the increasing incidents of crimes against women and children in today’s society, a discussion was held with parents on 13/09/24 to address ways to protect themselves. The event was graced by Chief Guest Garima Dwivedi, Additional Superintendent of Police, and Special Guests Archana Jha, Additional Superintendent of Police, and Bindu Singh Kushwaha.
The children of the school presented a short dance drama on crimes against women and children, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The program saw a large turnout of women, children, and prominent citizens. It began with a floral tribute to the image of Bharat Mata, followed by welcoming the guests with flower pots. As an incentive, the children who participated in the street play were gifted tiffin boxes by Bindu Singh, Secretary of the Mahila Jagruti Group. In her address, Bindu Singh emphasized that women today are strong and should never fear. She encouraged women to stand firm in the face of adversity, as fear only emboldens oppressors, and women must confront any crisis with courage.
