Bilaspur: On 10th September 2024 at Village Lokhandi, under the jurisdiction of Sakri Police Station, Bilaspur, the complainant Dilip Nirmalkar, a 30-year-old resident and owner of a local hotel.
On the evening of 10th September 2024, an alarming incident unfolded at Village Lokhandi, near the hotel owned by the complainant, Dilip Nirmalkar. According to the report, the altercation began when three young men arrived at the hotel on an Activa scooter. Initially, the trio engaged in a verbal exchange with the complainant after he inquired about certain goods. The situation escalated quickly, with the group hurling abuses and physically assaulting Dilip Nirmalkar.
Not content with this initial confrontation, the attackers left the scene, only to return shortly afterward with four additional accomplices. This group, now consisting of seven individuals, launched a brutal and premeditated assault on both the complainant and his father. The attackers were armed with dangerous weapons, including swords, sticks, and batons, which they used to inflict grievous harm on the victims.
In response to the violent attack, Dilip Nirmalkar promptly reported the incident to Sakri Police Station. Recognizing the severity of the situation, law enforcement officers took immediate steps to register a formal complaint. The gravity of the case was quickly escalated, with both the Additional Superintendent of Police and the City Superintendent of Police being informed to ensure a coordinated and high-priority response.
