Jhansi: In honor of the birth anniversaries of two iconic leaders, the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, a solemn tribute ceremony was held at Police Line, Jhansi, organized by SSPJhansi. The event commenced with the garlanding of the portraits of these towering figures, symbolizing their invaluable contributions to the nation. Senior officials and staff gathered to reflect on the legacies of Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of non-violence, truth, and self-reliance, as well as Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri’s dedication to simplicity, integrity, and his famous slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.”
In a spirit of deep reverence and commitment to national values, the officers and employees present were administered a formal oath.
