Yadadri Bhuvanagiri: Two accused, Vanapakula Rambabu alias Azad alias Ishwar, son of Pakir, aged 35, from Khammam District, and Pittala Srinivas alias Srinu, son of Somaiah, aged 38, from Warangal District, were sentenced to seven years of rigorous imprisonment in a case involving the possession of illegal weapons. The Hon’ble Additional Assistant Sessions Judge of Bhuvanagiri District convicted the accused under Section 25(1)(A) of the Arms Act in SC No. 41/2017, registered at Aleru Police Station. In addition to the imprisonment, the accused were fined Rs.500.
