West Bengal: The incident happened three years ago. The minor girl is fifteen years old. She is a resident of Barasat. She had a chat with the 22-year-old Ghulam Kibria, a resident of Khariberia, through Facebook. It started with talking to a friend, friend to phone number exchange and frequent chat. Ghulam offers the minor girl a bike ride one day. The girl agreed in good faith. Ghulam Kibria took the minor girl to an empty room near Pachhar Morra of Eco Park police station area of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate. Inzamul Haque, another friend of Ghulam, was already waiting there. The two accused persons together brutally sexually assaulted the minor. The case was initiated on the complaint of the girl’s father. Investigating Officer Sub-Inspector Naveen Tshering Bhutia arrested the two accused and presented a detailed charge sheet. The judgment of the case has come out recently. The judge convicted the two accused and sentenced them to twenty years in prison. The minor girl finally got justice.
