Uttarakhand, Almora: Circle Officer (CO) Almora, Shri Vimal Prasad, carried out a semi-annual inspection at Lamgara Police Station, evaluating various sections of the facility and providing guidance to police personnel ahead of the festive season.
Inspection:
The inspection included a detailed review of the police station premises, women’s help desk, staff barracks, canteen, CCTNS office, and storage facilities, with cleanliness standards reported as satisfactory. CO Prasad also engaged with personnel to discuss weapon handling procedures.
Employee Conference:
During a conference with the police staff, CO Prasad listened to concerns raised by personnel and provided solutions to resolve them. Officers were encouraged to reach out directly for assistance with any future issues.
Festival Guidelines:
In anticipation of the upcoming festivals, CO Prasad urged beat officers to conduct regular patrols in their assigned areas, stay alert, and monitor individuals with criminal tendencies to ensure proactive policing and public safety.
Order Room Review:
CO Prasad led a comprehensive review of pending investigations within both police and revenue police jurisdictions, preventive actions, complaint inquiries, arms license applications, panchayatnama investigations, and court order implementations. He instructed officers to expedite resolutions of pending cases and emphasized taking strict action against those involved in narcotics trafficking and sales.
