Jammu and Kashmir, Bandipora: In Bandipora, police, in coordination with security forces, conducted a cordon and search operation in the Manz Mohalla area of SK Bala Ajas, leading to the recovery of ammunition, a grenade, and other incriminating materials. Acting on specific intelligence, the Bandipora police, along with Army 13 RR and CRPF 3rd Battalion, launched the search operation in SK Bala Ajas Sumbal at the residence of an individual identified as Ishfaq Majeed Dar, son of Abdul Majeed Dar. During the operation, a rusted hand grenade, five AK-47 rounds, and five posters of the banned terrorist group LeT were found behind the residence. Further investigation is underway.
