Chhattisgarh, Mungeli: In Mungeli District, District Collector Mr. Rahul Dev and Superintendent of Police Mr. Bhojram Patel visited their offices to perform puja and lit lamps in celebration of Diwali. The station and outpost in-charges throughout the district gifted earthen lamps and rangolis to the Police Chiefs in their respective areas. Police officers and staff also marked Diwali by celebrating with the elderly and families of martyrs, visiting local old age homes to share sweets and warm wishes. The District Administration and Police Department ensured thorough preparations for the festival, with vibrant decorations and lighting at temples, public places, and government buildings. The District Collector and Superintendent of Police, in particular, visited the Collector’s and Police offices, lighting lamps, offering prayers, and extending heartfelt wishes for the prosperity of Mungeli’s residents. Additionally, the station and outpost in-charges gifted lamps and rangoli to Police Chiefs in their jurisdictions, while the police celebrated with martyrs’ families, expressing solidarity and festive cheer.
