Andhra Pradesh, Kadapa: The Badvelu Rural Police have cleared the thorn bushes from the Gopavaram bus stand area, much to the appreciation of the local community. Located on the Badvelu-Nellore road, the bus stand had remained unused for 15 years, allowing thorny shrubs to grow around it and turning it into a hub for antisocial activities and public drinking. Acting on the orders of District SP Sri V. Harshavardhan Raju IPS, and under the supervision of Badvelu Rural CI Nagabhushanam, along with Gopavaram SI Srikanth and the police team, the site was beautified using JCB equipment to remove the overgrown bushes. Locals expressed their gratitude and commended the police for their commitment to social service.
