Uttar Pradesh, Gonda: Under the leadership of SP Gonda, Shri Vineet Jaiswal IPS, a coordinated effort by the Police Station Kotwali Nagar and the Special Operations Group (SOG) led to the arrest of a drug smuggler along with a juvenile accomplice. In this operation, the joint team successfully seized a substantial quantity of illegal marijuana, totaling 101 kilograms and 200 grams, with an estimated market value of Rs. 25,30,000/-. Additionally, a motorcycle, believed to have been used by the suspects for the transportation of these narcotics, was confiscated as part of the evidence. The successful interception highlights the ongoing commitment to curbing drug trafficking in the region.
