Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada: A case was registered in Vijayawada based on a complaint by a woman named Prasanna, who reported that while walking towards a temple on RTC Workshop Road in Bhavanipuram, two unidentified individuals approached her near the Swati Centre on a cart and snatched a gold chain from her neck.
Following the complaint, special teams comprising CCS and Bhavanipuram police were formed under the supervision of Crime DCP Shri K. Thirumaleshwara Reddy IPS, as directed by Police Commissioner Shri Rajasekhara Babu IPS. Utilizing advanced technology, the teams apprehended the suspects, identified as Sedagam Kumar and Yalangi Krishna Babu. Approximately 27.5 grams of gold, a Hero Glamor motorcycle, and other stolen property valued at Rs. 5 lakh were recovered. Vijayawada Police Commissioner Shri SV Rajasekhara Babu IPS and senior police officers commended the officers and personnel involved for their efforts in solving the case and arresting the culprits.
