Andhra Pradesh, Kakinada: Kakinada District SP, Sri Vikrant Patil, IPS, has been promoted to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). The government has issued official orders for his promotion.
A member of the 2012 IPS batch, Sri Vikrant Patil has previously held various key positions, including Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations) in Vijayanagaram, Superintendent of Police for Chittoor District and Railways (Guntakal), Deputy Commissioner of Police in Vijayawada City, and Commandant of the 5th Battalion APSP in Vijayanagaram. Most recently, he served as Superintendent of Police for Parvatipuram Manyam district.
Since July 17, 2024, he has been serving as the Superintendent of Police for Kakinada district.
