<![CDATA[The Rajarajeshwari nagar police have arrested a 21-year-old youth, who strangled his father and crushed his head with a boulder, over a insignificant fight at Bangarappa Nagar on Monday. The accused has been identified as Abhishek. The police have also arrested Abhishek's friend Revanna (22), on charges of assisting the murder. According to the police, the deceased is Kantharaju (55), a former security guard who quit his job three months ago. Kantharaju was a chronic alcoholic and used to harass his family members. On Monday, Abhishek and Revanna followed Kantharaju, who left home in an inebirated condition.The duo strangled him using a towel and later crushed his head with a boulder. The Rajarajeshwari nagar police, who took up investigations, found that Abhishek was the last person seen with Kantharaju and picked him up for questioning.
