Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram City: To address the traffic congestion at the Enchakkal junction due to flyover construction, temporary traffic arrangements will be in effect from January 15, 2025, until the completion of the work. The details are as follows:
Heavy Vehicles:
From Killipalam to Kazhakoottam via Enchakkal: Divert through Attakulangara and proceed via Statue-VJT-Patoor-Chakka to the bypass road.
From Thiruvallam to Kizhakkekotta via Enchakkal: Take the Thiruvallam-Ambalathara-Attakulangara route.
From Killipalam-Powerhouse Road to Kazhakoottam via Enchakkal: Use either the Choorakkattu Palayam-Thampanoor Panavila-Ashan Square-Patoor-Chakka route or the Sreekanteswaram-Uppidamoodu-Petta-Chakka route to access the bypass.
From Chakka to Attakulangara via Enchakkal Junction: Follow the Chakka-Petta-Palayam route.
Small Vehicles (Including Cars):
From Chakka to Kottakkam and Attakulangara: Avoid Paramavadhi Enchakkal Junction; use the Petta-Vanchiyoor-Uppidamoodu-East Kotta route.
From Attakulangara to Chakka: Avoid Paramavadhi Enchakkal Junction; take the Vazhappally-Sreekanteswaram-Uppidamoodu-Naalumukku-Petta route.
From Attakulangara to Muttathara: Opt for either the Manakkad-Kallumoodu route or the Manakkad-Kamaleswaram route.
