Chhattisgarh, Bijapur: In a significant breakthrough under the ongoing anti-Maoist operations, the Bijapur District police apprehended four individuals allegedly associated with the Maoist organization. The arrests were made by personnel from the Awapalli police station, who acted on credible intelligence inputs. During the operation, law enforcement officials recovered a substantial cache of explosives and propaganda materials. The seized items included improvised tiffin bombs, beer bottle bombs, cardex wire used for detonations, and various pieces of Maoist literature aimed at spreading their ideology. These recoveries highlight the concerted efforts of the security forces to curb Maoist activities and ensure the safety of the region. The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated for further leads into Maoist operations and networks.
