Andaman and Nicobar: The Andaman Police celebrated its 73rd Raising Day today, commemorating its legacy since January 16, 1953. Established under the leadership of Mr. Naushirwan Feroz Sauntook, the force has evolved into one of the most distinguished in serving the A&N Islands. A captivating parade was held at the Parade Ground, Police Lines, featuring various units, including the Executive Police, India Reserve Battalion, Police Marine Force, Dog Squad, Fire & Emergency Service, Police Band, and Commandos. Senior officers, including CINCAN COS, were present to honor the occasion. Police Stations in Shaheed Dweep, Rangat, and Car Nicobar were recognized as the Best, Second Best, and Third Best Police Stations of A&N Islands. DGP’s Commendation Discs were awarded to personnel who excelled in their duties. We commend the dedication, courage, and integrity of all those who serve to uphold peace and stability.
