Tamil Nadu, Kanyakumari: Under the directives of Kanyakumari District Superintendent of Police, Dr. Ira. Stalin IPS, the police are implementing various accident prevention measures across the district. Intensive vehicle checks are being conducted, and strict action is taken under the Motor Vehicle Act against individuals driving under the influence of alcohol and those violating traffic rules.
On 28-01-25, the District Superintendent of Police raised awareness among the public and college students about his special initiative, No Helmet… No Entry. Awareness efforts included pasting black stickers on vehicle headlights and educating the public and students about road safety regulations.
The District Police urge the public to fully support these proactive measures aimed at preventing road accidents.
