Andhra Pradesh, Anakapalli: Home Guard Pappula Lakshmi of Kailasagiri Armed Reserve Head Office, Anakapalli District, Visakhapatnam, passed away due to ill health. In support of her family, her husband, Pappula Shankara Rao, received financial assistance, including a one-day duty allowance voluntarily contributed by home guards from Anakapalli and Alluri Sitaramaraju districts.
A cheque of Rs.4,17,565 was officially handed over to him by Anakapalli District SP, Sri Tuhin Sinha, IPS, at his office. Home guards uphold the noble tradition of donating their one-day duty allowance to support the families of deceased or retired colleagues.
District SP Sri Tuhin Sinha, IPS, along with Additional SP Sri M. Deva Prasad, AVO Sri A. Ram Kumar, and Junior Assistant T. Ramesh, participated in the program.
